Life Update
A little note
Hello everyone,
It’s been a while since my last post so here’s a brief update on what I’ve been up to.
I wrapped up five months of travel and arrived in the United Kingdom in early September to begin my experience as a Rotary Peace Fellow at the University of Bradford. Along with nine other incredible Fellows, who teach me as much (or more) as my coursework, I’m engaged in academic reading, seminars, discussions, and essay writing within the Department of Peace Studies & International Development. There’s an endless amount to learn, and I’m doing my best to stay open-minded and curious.

Extracurricularly, I joined the university basketball team and have been playing point guard for the Bradford Kings as well as running a series of film screenings on campus called the Atlas Film Project which aims at facilitating discussion through film (shoutout Mapicha ya Bantu for the inspiration).

The holidays are approaching and I look forward to seeing my family in December for the first time since April, one of the longest such hiatuses we’ve ever experienced. I miss them deeply. That said, they’ve been nothing but supportive and encouraging along the way, and I’m endlessly grateful for all the love and well wishes I’ve received from everyone back home throughout this particular ammuddo.
Finally, I just posted a video which attempts to capture some of my experience in Tanzania this summer. I plan to continue shooting and editing such videos, so subscribe to the Ammuddo Youtube channel if you want to see more.
Happy holidays and much love - Hunter

Thanks for the update, Hunter! Great to see and hear that you are doing well there! Miss you bud! Cheers, Lance and Laura
